This Return & Refund Policy applies to all products purchased through barkeleypets.com. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase.

1. Return Window

We accept returns within 14 days of the delivery date. This means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. If 14 days have passed since your order was delivered, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, unworn, unopened (especially for consumables like cat litter bags or canned food boxes), and in its original packaging.

  • Due to hygiene and health safety standards, pet grooming tools or personal care items must not contain any pet hair or signs of usage.

  • The item must have all original tags attached.

  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation email or order number).

Please Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

3. Return Process

To start a return, please follow these simple steps:

  • Step 1: Contact our customer support team at support@barkeleypets.com with your order number and clear photos of the item's current condition.

  • Step 2: If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, as well as detailed instructions on how and where to send your package.

  • Step 3: Pack the items securely in their original box, attach the provided return label, and send the package to our registered facility:

4. Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order immediately upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged by the carrier, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us right away at support@barkeleypets.com so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

5. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned:

  • Perishable Goods: Such as pet food, canned meat, open treats, flowers, or plants.

  • Customized Products: Such as special orders or personalized items.

  • Personal Care Goods: Such as opened pet grooming or beauty tools due to hygiene considerations.

  • Hazardous Materials: We do not accept returns for dangerous substances, flammable liquids, or gases.

  • Sale Items & Gift Cards: Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

If you have questions or concerns about a specific item, please do not hesitate to contact us.

6. Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you may make a separate purchase for the new item.

7. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As stated above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

8. Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

  • If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund as well.

  • If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you haven't received your refund yet, please contact us at support@barkeleypets.com.
